About / Achyuth Rachur
I work where the operating problem meets the technical solution.
I began in model risk, where I learned to examine the data, controls, and decisions around a system—not just the model. That foundation shapes how I approach AI work today: understand the work first, choose the right intervention, and help make it operable.

How I got here
Learn the domain. Then design the change.
My work has taken me across financial crime, audit, lending, enterprise and model risk, banking operations, and insurance. I often enter a function as a learner. I listen to the people doing the work, trace the underlying data and controls, and build enough domain fluency to describe the problem back to them accurately.
From there, I connect perspectives that can otherwise stay separate: the outcome a leader needs, the exceptions a practitioner sees, the questions a risk owner must resolve, and what engineers can deliver. Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it is deterministic automation or a better process.
I like staying with a solution beyond the recommendation—through architecture, a bounded prototype, evaluation, delivery, and adoption. The Approach page shows that working method; my résumé documents professional experience and cleared outcomes.
